Coaching and Mentoring Leadership Academy
The Coaching and Mentoring Leadership Academy provides participants with the opportunity to enhance their leadership and management skills through training and direct mentorship with experienced leaders from within NYCHA. The program recruited 26 mentees with the following front-line supervisory titles:
- Property Management
- Property Managers
- Assistant Property Maintenance Supervisor
- Supervisor of Housing Caretakers
- Supervisor of Housing Groundkeepers
The mentors are supervisory staff from across NYCHA with diverse leadership experiences. The mentors will use their varied experiences to provide career advice to participants while honing their own leadership skills in the process.
The program kicked off on January 31st 2023 and will run through May 2023.
