Nominate a Caretaker for the John DeCarlo Memorial Award

We are pleased to announce that nominations are now being accepted for the New York City Housing Authority’s annual John DeCarlo Memorial Award. This award was established in 1999 and is presented each year to a Caretaker whose outstanding job performance reflects the exceptional standards maintained by Caretaker John DeCarlo. Mr. DeCarlo had served NYCHA residents for over 20 years when he lost his life in July 1997. To honor his legacy of outstanding service, NYCHA recognizes Caretakers who demonstrate the highest levels of performance and quality of service for our residents.
