Runners Club Takes On 2024 Corporate Challenge

NYCHA’s Runners Club teamed up for the 45th running of the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge race in Central Park on May 29 and May 30.

Runners Club colleagues at the Authority joined thousands of runners and walkers from across the city for New York’s version of the Corporate Challenge, billed as the world’s largest corporate running event. The annual 3.5-mile road race takes place in 15 locations across the world. Among those representing NYCHA this year were Runners Club President Ramon Lugo and executives including Chief Operating Officer Eva Trimble and Vice President of the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Claudia Dillon.

Connecting corporate participants with their colleagues to celebrate teamwork and camaraderie, the event offers teams the opportunity to get together outside of work and enjoy the benefits of fitness and friendly competition. Runners and walkers, from large corporations to startups, are invited to enter the challenge.
