Rising to the Occasion

The Heroes of the Heating Management Services Department (HMSD)

From Javier Almodovar, Director of the Heating Management Services Department:

“While the HMSD management team would like to commend the following employees, I want to send kudos to the entire department for their diligence and their commitment to the residents we serve. I am proud to acknowledge my Managers, Field Supervisors, Heating Plant Technicians, Timekeepers, and Heat Desk staff. The men and women of HMSD have unequivocally risen to the challenge once again to continue our critical mission of providing heat and hot water to NYCHA’s residents. I am proud to work next to these unsung heroes, and I admire their compassion, bravery, leadership, and dedication. I am truly grateful to be a part of the team.”
