NYCHA Staff Celebrate Fan Appreciation at Brooklyn Nets Game
On April 9, NYCHA colleagues were full of team spirit as they joined the thousands of spectators who came to support the Brooklyn Nets during Fan Appreciation Night.
Despite the Nets’ 123-94 loss to the Indiana Pacers in their final home game of the regular season, NYCHA’s fans made the most of the experience with friends and family at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.
More than 200 NYCHA employees and their companions were among the fans who received a free Nets T-shirt as part of the Fan Appreciation event. Thanks to their strong showing of support, some NYCHA staff were also given the special opportunity to take foul shots post-game on the Barclays court.
“The atmosphere was incredible, and everyone had a great time together,” said Andre Cirilo, NYCHA’s Employee Engagement Director.
