NYCHA and Baby2Baby Give Away Baby and Child Supplies
On September 29, NYCHA’s Health Initiatives team, in partnership with the national nonprofit Baby2Baby, organized a giveaway of baby and child supplies at Saint Nicholas Houses in Upper Manhattan. NYCHA families from across the city received diapers, clothing, backpacks, toys, and other essential items to help kick off the new school year. About 1,100 children attended the event and 200,000 items were distributed. Families also enjoyed food and fun activities.
The special day is part of NYCHA’s work to partner with organizations that support expecting families.
