Apply Now for the Mayor’s Graduate Scholarship Program

NYCHA employees seeking to continue their education in graduate study are encouraged to apply for the Mayor’s Graduate Scholarship Program for the 2022-23 school year.  

Over the years, hundreds of City employees have been awarded full and partial scholarships for graduate study as part of the program. Participating schools offer scholarships in a variety of fields, including computer science, public health, engineering, law, and business and public administration.

Completed applications must be submitted by Monday, November 22, 2021, to Edith Irizarry-Oviedo at edith.irizarry-oviedo@nycha.nyc.gov or NYCHA Human Resources Department, 90 Church Street, 5th Floor, New York, NY 10007. 

To compete for a Mayor’s Graduate Scholarship Program scholarship, you must: 

  • Be a full-time City employee; 
  • Have an undergraduate degree by the start of the fall 2022 semester; 
  • Remain a full-time City employee throughout your studies; and 
  • Meet the minimum scholarship requirements outlined at nyc.gov/mgsp
