In this installment, meet Jaison Buchanan, an Oil Burner Specialist for nearly three years:
“I perform repairs, from boilers to within tank rooms, to ensure efficient heat and hot water service for residents. Every day, I travel throughout Manhattan, fixing leaks and making sure that boilers are operating safely. Residents have mentioned that they appreciate the work and have noticed the results of it, whether it was from convector issues I’ve resolved or issues in the tank rooms.
“It’s important to show up for jobs in a timely fashion and show residents the competent work the Authority delivers. We need to demonstrate for residents that we provide the same care, concern, and professionalism as we would for our own families.”
