Law Department Interns Tour Long Island City Operations
Legal interns from NYCHA’s Law Department recently met with Operations Support Services staff to tour operations at the satellite office in Long Island City. Joined by some landlord and tenant attorneys, the group toured on-site departments, including Pest Management, Waste Management, Heating Management and Services, Emergency Management and Services, and Elevator Services and Repair. The visit was offered to the summer legal interns as an opportunity to become more connected with various Authority operations and to better understand the needs and challenges of both staff and residents.
