NYCHA hosted a job fair at 250 Broadway on July 12 that resulted in job offers for 36of the pre-screened attendees. The job offers were for positions at NYCHA such as Construction Project Manager (Levels 1-3), Industrial Hygienist, and Construction Inspector. In addition to on-the-spot interviews, the job fair featured a presentation from the NYC Department of Citywide Administrative Services on civil service exams. “The job fair was a success, with over 100 in attendance and NYCHA’s Healthy Homes Unit able to fill numerous positions expeditiously with pre-qualified candidates,” said Abiodun Oluwa, Deputy Assistant Director in the Human Resources Department.
