Providing Clarity Regarding the Federal Government Shutdown

I wanted to provide some assurance to you regarding the news that the federal government has shut down.
While this news is unsettling, please be assured that we do not anticipate any impact to our daily operations, to staff or to residents at this time. As always, we continue to prioritize the vital services we deliver to the hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers supported by our public housing and Section 8 programs – and we remain fully focused on our work to ensure their health and safety and improve quality of life, regardless of the changes and challenges coming out of Washington.
We will continue to monitor the developments in DC and will continue to keep you informed. Thank you for your partnership and your commitment to our mission as we strive to strengthen NYCHA communities.
