Mobile Devices Update

Dear NYCHA Colleagues,

We’re updating how we manage work apps on NYCHA-provided phones and tablets. This change will help keep our work tools secure and easy to use.

That means we’re switching to Microsoft Intune, a new system that manages employees’ mobile devices. Employees with Samsung S10 or older models will receive new phones as part of this update.

Migration begins in January 2025 and will be completed in phases over the next several months. A schedule by location will be shared in advance so you’ll know when and where to bring your device. A tech team will be onsite to handle the transition during your location’s scheduled date.

How to Prepare

*Back up your work data:

  • Important: Any data not backed up will be lost during the transition.

*Be present on your scheduled day:

  • Bring your device to the designated location.

Be prepared to enter your email address and network password so the tech team can enroll your device in the new system. Click here for more information about password management.
