Understanding the Way to a New NYCHA
At December’s Quarterly Leadership Meeting (QLM), about 230 staff came together to discuss the work of building a new NYCHA. This includes making significant quality of life improvements for residents in the areas of heat and elevator service, mold, lead, and pests/waste as well as transforming the organization’s structure and business model – all as part of the HUD agreement and in partnership with the federal monitor. NYCHA is engaging all stakeholders, including employees, to develop and implement a plan for a transformed organization.
