Thankful for You
Dear Colleagues,
Thanksgiving is an excellent opportunity to reflect on our efforts in service to the NYCHA community. It’s also a great opportunity to express gratitude for the colleagues who support us and our work, enabling us to fulfill our vital undertakings.
And so I would like to convey how grateful I am for each and every one of you. Your daily efforts are indispensable – we simply would not be able to make good on our mission to transform this organization and transform residents’ quality of life without your service and dedication.
We know the challenges are immense – we’re addressing issues in decades-old buildings that haven’t received the necessary investments for decades. But our extraordinary dedication is enabling us to overcome the extraordinary challenges. Thank you for going above and beyond so that a child can grow up in a home that’s healthy and free of hazards, so that a family has a pathway to opportunity thanks to connections to life-changing educational and career programs.
I feel privileged and honored for the opportunity to make a difference for our NYCHA community, for the amazing responsibility we’ve been entrusted as the stewards of the homes of hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers. I am extremely proud to be working alongside you as we improve residents’ homes and make our developments a better place to live.
Your talents and commitment inspire me every day, so let’s please keep inspiring each other as we work hard as a team to overcome the challenges and deliver on our promises to NYCHA residents and our city.
