NYCHA’s Chief Information Officer Talks About Our Tech
NYCHA’s Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer Patti Bayross recently participated in City & State’s 2022 Digital New York Summit, which brought together technology and information leaders for thought-provoking conversations about their work. Ms. Bayross was part of a panel titled “Using Technology to Impact our Communities,” which provided her the opportunity to present NYCHA’s technological efforts to better connect with residents. “I think we are doing a lot of good things at NYCHA, including using new technology in our construction work,” Ms. Bayross said during the discussion.
The panel was moderated by Adam Balkin, Executive Producer at CBS News, and consisted of four other industry experts: Deshard Stevens, Chief Information Officer at the New York City Commission on Human Rights; Kristin Malek, Director of Business Diversity at CDW; Chris Gianutsos, Managing Director of Digital at Ernst and Young; and Nick Colvin, Chief Executive Officer at CityBridge.
In discussing how technology can be used to impact New York communities, Ms. Bayross noted: “At NYCHA, we are looking at our technology from an enterprise perspective to see where the technology can interact more effectively and modernize. We want residents to have visibility and transparency with our services, and we have a lot of new ideas on the horizon.”
