Learning More About Public Housing
Chair and CEO Shola Olatoye shared an interesting article on public housing with Department of Communications (DOC) staff and others, from this month’s Atlantic magazine. Needless to say, NYCHA is amply discussed. And while you’re learning more about public housing, don’t forget to see the exhibit at the Museum of the City of New York titled “Affordable New York,” which traces more than a century of affordable housing activism while focusing on current and future initiatives. The exhibit includes archival photos and a wealth of information about NYCHA.
