Approaching Retirement?
Approximately three months prior to retirement, employees should schedule an appointment with Human Resources’ ASKHR at (212) 306-8000. Prior to the appointment, you must visit the NYC Employees Retirement System (NYCERS) to obtain a printout of your pension estimate. NYCERS, located at 340 Jay Street in Brooklyn, is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. weekdays. No appointment is necessary. Employees may visit NYCERS’ website at www.nycers.org for additional information.
