Appreciate Your Dedication
Dear Colleagues,
We are living in a fast-paced world filled with frequent surprises and challenges. Yet, NYCHA staff always rise to the occasion, whether it’s by overcoming the storm of the century or a global pandemic.
Today’s trial was an IT outage that affected vital infrastructure across the world, including many of NYCHA’s critical systems. Despite the disruption, NYCHA staff showed up to work, whether at central offices (including the CCC), remotely, or at developments across the city to provide uninterrupted services and assistance to residents.
We are pleased to report that, thanks to the hard work, long hours, and efficiency of our IT team and other colleagues, all IT applications and systems have been restored.
We would like to thank all of you for always being there for the NYCHA families we serve, and we want you to know that your efforts, flexibility, and responsiveness are appreciated.
As a reminder, if you experience any IT issues, please reboot your computer to see if that resolves the issue before reaching out to IT. Additionally, please speak with your supervisor if you need any guidance regarding attendance matters for today.
We hope you have a safe and restful weekend.
Sincerely,
Lisa Bova-Hiatt, Chief Executive Officer
Eva Trimble, Chief Operating Officer
