Grateful for Colleagues Like You

Dear Colleagues, 

I would like to take a moment to wish you and your family a happy and healthy Thanksgiving, and to express my appreciation for all that you’ve done in service to the NYCHA community this year. 

The holiday season provides an important opportunity to take stock and reflect upon all that we’re grateful for. Personally, I feel incredibly fortunate to work alongside each and every one of you as we carry out the critical work to transform NYCHA and improve the quality of life for NYCHA families. 

We know it’s not always easy. But we are clearly making progress, from the major housing preservation programs that are generating billions of dollars of vital investment in residents’ homes, to the significant improvements we’re enabling in heating and elevator service, pest management, and mold and lead abatement, among many important areas that impact NYCHA residents. 

I am always proud to recognize what a dedicated and hardworking team we are, overcoming significant challenges to come through for residents. I hope that the coming weeks bring you some well-deserved rest and reflection.
