Going Green at NYCHA
In recognition of Earth Day on April 22, NYCHA CONNECT invited staff to submit photos sharing “green office tips.” Keith Hernandez in General Services grows plants in empty liter bottles. “This contributes to a green atmosphere in my office,” Mr. Hernandez said, “and it uses recyclable plastic bottles in a hydroponic [no soil] approach.
